At UtilitiTech X, we stand behind the quality of our retro gaming consoles and accessories. Please review this policy carefully before purchasing.


โš ๏ธ IMPORTANT: ALL SALES ARE FINAL

We do not accept returns or issue refunds.

All purchases from UtilitiTech X are final sale and non-refundable. This means:

โœ— No returns for any reason
โœ— No refunds for change of mind or buyer's remorse
โœ— No exchanges for different products
โœ— Orders cannot be canceled once placed

Please review product descriptions, specifications, game lists, and compatibility requirements carefully before purchasing.


๐Ÿ”„ Damaged or Defective Items

If your order arrives damaged or defective, we'll send you a replacement at no extra cost.

To process your request, please:

  • Email us at utilititechx@gmail.com within 7 days of delivery
  • Include clear photos or videos showing the issue
  • Provide your order number and a brief explanation of the problem

What We Need to See:

  • Photos/video of the damaged product
  • Photos of damaged packaging (if applicable)
  • Video demonstrating the defect (for non-working devices)

Once verified, a replacement will be shipped out promptly.

No returns are required โ€“ keep the defective item unless we specifically request it back.


๐ŸŽฎ What Qualifies as "Defective"?

We cover manufacturing defects including:

โœ“ Device does not power on (after proper setup)
โœ“ Controllers don't respond or pair
โœ“ No video output (after correct HDMI setup)
โœ“ Missing components (controllers, cables, power adapter)
โœ“ Physical damage from manufacturing
โœ“ Games won't load due to hardware failure

Please troubleshoot before claiming defective:

  1. Ensure TV is on correct HDMI input
  2. Try different HDMI cable/port
  3. Verify power source is working (try different USB port/adapter)
  4. Check that all cables are securely connected
  5. Restart device and TV

โŒ Refunds

We do not offer refunds for damaged items. Replacements are issued after proper verification.

Refunds are only considered in exceptional cases where:

  • A replacement is not possible (item permanently out of stock)
  • Multiple replacement attempts have failed

In such rare cases, store credit may be issued at our discretion. Cash refunds are not provided.


โš ๏ธ What's NOT Covered

We do not offer refunds or replacements for:

User Error & Compatibility: โœ— Incorrect setup or user error
โœ— TV compatibility issues (device requires HDMI input)
โœ— Display resolution mismatches
โœ— Preference for different games or gameplay experience

Customer Responsibility: โœ— Incorrect shipping address provided at checkout
โœ— Change of mind / buyer's remorse
โœ— Opened product if you simply don't like it
โœ— Normal wear and tear after use

Shipping & Delivery: โœ— Delivery delays caused by customs or shipping carriers
โœ— Lost or stolen packages after confirmed delivery
โœ— Packages refused at customs (international orders)

Damage After Delivery: โœ— Customer-caused damage (drops, spills, mishandling)
โœ— Cosmetic wear from normal use
โœ— Damage from unauthorized modifications or repairs


๐Ÿ“ฆ Lost or Stolen Packages

Once the shipping carrier confirms delivery:

  • We are not responsible for lost or stolen packages
  • Claims must be filed directly with the shipping carrier
  • Consider requiring signature confirmation at checkout (if available)
  • Use a secure delivery location

Track your package using the tracking number provided in your shipping confirmation email.


๐ŸŒ International Orders

For international customers:

  • All sales are final (no exceptions)
  • Import duties, taxes, and customs fees are non-refundable
  • Customer is responsible for all customs clearance
  • Packages refused at customs will not be refunded
  • Voltage/plug compatibility is customer's responsibility
  • Shipping delays due to customs are not covered

International customers must verify compatibility and customs requirements before ordering.


๐Ÿ‡ช๐Ÿ‡บ European Union โ€“ 14-Day Right of Withdrawal

Under EU Directive 2011/83/EU, you have the right to withdraw from your purchase within 14 days.

However:

  • This right only applies if the product remains sealed and unopened
  • Once opened or used, this right is waived (Article 16(c))
  • Customer pays return shipping for withdrawal returns
  • Refund processed only after unopened device is received and inspected

Damaged/defective items are still covered under our replacement guarantee regardless of EU withdrawal rights.
